Hi all! We haven’t posted anything on our blog for a long time, you probably missed it) On November 24, we sent our friends from team 17 our two improved concepts that the guys liked the most from our ideas. You can check out these concepts below. A planner board for a large family. this board is a large interactive touch panel (the size of a TV), which has a built-in smart voice assistant. for this board there is also a mobile application that synchronizes with the board so that all family members, even those who are not at home, are aware of family tasks and activities you upload data about your family, family members' schedule to the board/application, and based on this data and schedule, the board draws up a task plan for each family member for the day and week the board has a face-id function, so when you approach the board, you can only see your plan, but you can't see the plan and tasks of other family members, just as they won't be able to see yours. This feature is designed to avoid conflicts in the family also the daughter can voice the text for those family members who have problems with reading the board will remind you of your tasks if you do not have time to do your tasks, they will be distributed to other family members each family member has a rating. the more you manage to do in a week, the more rating you get. the results board shows at the end of the week for all family members. it contributes to motivation you can also set a goal for a month (for example, to meet the whole family 3 times a month), and the board will help you achieve this goal, for example, based on the schedule of all family members to organize a meeting when everyone is free. there is a chat function in which family members can exchange voice messages, video messages or just text messages, as well as send each other photos, videos when the board is in calm mode, its screen displays motivational phrases, weather and time, as well as room temperature and humidity, individual reminders to drink water the board can also wish you a good day when you pass by or use it Family tree appearance: interior detail in the form of a small square box with a touch panel, which also creates a hologram of the tree. there is a voice assistant function that will voice any text and remind you of meetings with your family this tree will store information about relatives and ancestors information you upload yourself, for example, you can ask your grandmother to tell you about your family, and when she tells, the tree will record her voice and reformat it into text. in this way, the information that your grandmother told you will be saved in the tree, and you can always read or listen to this information by…

Hello, friends! As the design questions we have chosen are not applicable to all families, we will use the family situation of one of the most representative students as a reference when we write the feedback, and give you our responses in his words (but these feedbacks are based on the discussions of our group members). 1.For me personally, I am interested in the design of family games, but my grandmother grew up in the period when China was exploring the path of socialism, so she was not educated, did not know how to read, and had difficulty understanding the rules of these games. Also, my family rest time at home is very short, have their own things to do, may not have time to play games. 2.Housework distribution board is really great, my father is not unwilling to do housework, but there is no awareness of housework, mother urged him, but also cause contradictions, if you can automatically provide what housework should be done better. The reward mechanism is also great, usually my dad and I don't want to help, but sometimes it's just lazy, grandma said let me and dad rest, she came to do the housework, which gave us a reason not to do housework. With this reward, we will actively want to do chores. Hahaha 3.It's great to exchange corner ideas and love the design ideas you draw, but my family is in the living room together, because of short breaks and washing clothes, the time to be together is very short, even though we live together. 4.With virtual assistants, the idea of making plans is great but, because my family all work together, sometimes they work overtime, they get disrupted by all kinds of things, and because they have to make money, they don't give up making money because they have to make plans. The idea of an interactive chronology tree was interesting, which facilitated communication between our families. You know that grandma and I have the biggest generation difference, and this chronology tree can arouse our common interest. But, first, you may not know that with the development of Chinese society, young people in China have very little contact with their relatives, little understanding of the relatives of their parents and grandparents, and they usually lack ways to understand them, so I think it would be very helpful for me to help me understand the relatives of my parents and grandparents. Second, Chinese family genealogies are usually kept in the hands of the elders, and Chinese people have sacred worship of ancestors, and it is rude to discuss ancestors. So I can learn about the most distant ancestors, only my grandparents' grandparents. Hopefully, you can turn it into an exploration of your relatives. 6.For Anastasiya, family books are a good idea. Unfortunately, my grandmother's education level is very low. She can't read, let alone write. Anastasiya, can you tell me more about the features of this table? I feel that the function you provide is very different…

Yesterday our team held a meeting on the results of our ideas. We also discussed the ideas of 17 teams to solve our problem (loneliness among the elderly). We met in the co-working space of our university, it is a very cozy place. Also, by an interesting coincidence, at that time there was a musician from China who played a Chinese musical instrument. I'd like to show you a video so you can hear how beautifully this man played his instrument, but I can't post the video here.

Hello everyone! Last week our team worked on individual sketches, and that's what we got! I (Sofia) came up with two versions of a board game for a large Chinese family, which has difficulties in communicating and sharing household responsibilities, and I also had the idea of creating an organizer board for the family! I will describe each of my ideas in more detail. Board game "Family Treasure" Game description: "Family Treasure" is a board game specially designed for large Chinese families to improve communication and strengthen bonds between different generations. Game components: Game board depicting the family home and its surroundings. Cards with questions and tasks covering various aspects of Chinese culture, tradition, history and family values. Character chips representing each family member. "Family Treasures" cards, which are valuable items or artifacts related to the history and traditions of the family.Rules of the game: Each participant selects a character piece and places it at the starting position on the playing field. Players take turns rolling the dice and moving their piece across the playing field. When a player lands on a new square, he takes a card with a question or task related to Chinese culture or family and answers it or completes the task. Answering questions and completing assignments promotes discussion and exchange among family members. This allows each generation to share their knowledge, experiences and stories. If the player successfully completes the task or gives the correct answer, he receives one of the "Family Treasures". The goal of the game is to collect as many treasures as possible. The game continues until a certain number of treasures are reached or until the finish line on the playing field. Upon completion of the game, players can share their impressions, discuss new knowledge and memories that arose during the game. The goal of Family Treasure is to create a fun and interactive atmosphere for the large Chinese family, where each member has the opportunity to express themselves, learn something new about their family and Chinese culture, and strengthen bonds and communication between different generations. Board game "Family Tree: Chinese Connection" Description of the game: "Family Tree: Chinese Connection" is a board game specially designed for a large Chinese family that has problems communicating with each other. The goal of the game is to strengthen ties and improve communication between different generations in the family, using the family tree as a basis. Components of the game: A playing field depicting a family tree and connections between different generations. Cards with questions and tasks that stimulate discussion and exchange of views. Character chips representing each family member. Cards "Family events", which represent various events and important moments in the life of the family. Rules of the game: Each participant selects a character chip and puts it in the starting position on the playing field. Players take turns moving their chip around the playing field, making moves in accordance with the instructions on the cards. The cards contain questions about the family…

Our first meeting with Chinese friends took place on 18.10.2023 and, unfortunately, at that time we did not own this site well and did not post a post on this topic, but fortunately!!, now we have enough knowledge to do this ... and finally we post this post?  In the process of online communication, we realized that it was quite difficult for us to communicate and decided that it was easier to perceive information in writing. Working in this mode, and moving on to a more difficult stage of work on the project, we had a problem of a lack of important minute details, the answers to which come faster and better during online discussions, and we decided to call again, but this time with changes on our part, namely, not to connect to the call one by one, but all together. We have agreed on an online meeting and we hope that the meeting will be as effective and useful as possible both for us and for our friends??
