Hey guys! I hope you're all doing well. Here is my initial ideas and sketches for your brief: Idea 1: Interactive Digital Literacy Tablet We can design an interface for a tablet that is designed to slowly educate elderly who are not familiar with technology at all by preliminary technological lessons that will introduce concepts and make them be practicable on the tablet also. Following that, they will be able to access specialized interface lessons for apps, phones, computers about tutorials for banking actions, healthcare appointments, mails, messages, calls etc. Idea 2: Digital Literacy Handbook Since the elderly is not famliar with technology at all we can introduce them a good old solution that they are familiar with: reading! With a hardback handbook design they will be able to learn essential technology and digital literacy tips that are specialized for their wants and needs. Since the handbook will cover any device that they may interact with, they will be able to practice the info they learn on the devices they own.
Hello! These are my initial ideas. 1. Telephone line for elderly This is a service design idea about a call line only accessible to elderly people. When one calls the line, they are asked what their problem is about. It may be bank, health, or government. A specialist on the line teaches or handles the bureaucratic tasks for the elderly. 2. Bureaucratic Boxes This is a design idea that works like a phone box. Elderly people can solve their problems via an easy ui specially designed for people who are not used to the digital world. This product could be used in neighborhoods. 3. Analog Videocall Analog Videocall is designed for people who has difficult time seeing or wants a telephone that they could instantly video call their loved ones. It works with a rotary wheel and product shows and voices over the names on it before calling.
Yağmur – Initial Ideas
Hey! Here are my very bare-bones initial ideas Print This one is the very first -and obvious- idea: a handheld smart device designed to be familiar and easy to learn, and friendly to the elderly. It has a built-in AI assistant you can interact with by talking or typing. The applications for banks and medical services, instant chat/call apps, and a browser can be installed. Your standard all-mighty device This one, the digital magnifying glass, is a helper device designed to aid the elderly as they are using the devices they already have. They can magnify, hear the voiceover and research the meaning of texts and buttons, and take pictures for future reference. Helps the elderly learn the written, visual, and practical language of any and every device, website, or application. Can't wait to hear your comments!
