Hi! This is a brief from 3 teams
Hello my name is Lucas I’m 21 and I’m studing the double degree of design and mechanical engineering in Tecnun. Tecnun is located in San Sebastián, a city in the north of Spain. It has a very changeableweather, it can be sunny and suddenly start raining cats and dogs. It is a colorful city with an amazing beach. I have done a lot of projects during my time at university. But I have 2 favorite ones. Firstly a project that consisted of creating a toy for a toy enterprise. We had to create it based on a silicon construction block. I decided to create an intercambiable rocket. It was colorful and children could play with it and recreate the shape of the toy. Secondly, we made another project that consisted of creating a terrace for a bar. I decided to make a kotatsu table. It consisted of a mix between a table and a heater. It was prepared for low temperatures and the shape of the ceiling pushes the heat to the people I wish we could make an interesting and creative project between both universities. Moreover, we could learn a lot from each other and from all the projects. Finally I wish we could practice and improve our English level. I’m from Pamplona, a city close to San Sebastian. I love football and I’m a CA Osasuna supporter. I’m keen on drawing cartoons and I like watching series and movies. I like hanging out with my friends and going to parties and discos. I would love to start working in a big city, the capital of some country. After having this experience I want to come back to Pamplona and create my own enterprise. Here is a photo of me and my dog Goku, it is a husky An interesting place could be a village near Pamplona where you can see beautiful sunshines every day of the summer. It’s called Arleta, it’s a private place, but I worked there during the summer. It’s a surprising and beautifull view. Finally, my Instagram is lucas_gr02 and my email lgarcia-ros@alumni.unav.es

My name is Santiago Ayala, I study Industrial Design Engineering, in the university of Navarra/Tecnun located in San Sebastian/ Spain. I am 22 years old, I am from Santa Cruz a really nice city in Bolivia, but I lived my childhood in Argentina. Now I have been living in San Sebastian with some friends for 3 years. About my hobbies: I do all kinds of sports but right now I am engaged with the gym, actually, I am training for a Spartan Race on April. I also enjoy hanging out with my friends and family, going to the cinema, or simply going out for a drink. I actually enjoy the design part more than the engineer part, do good market research and create a new concept. I do not have an online portfolio jet, but these are some pictures of my favorite projects. I named this one SUIT. It is a stove that works using recycled coffee pellets. The company Caffea Eco proposed the challenge of designing a stove for its coffe pellets. Create an environment around the fire that the stove gives off. I am very excited about this new project and i am looking forward to meeting you all. See ya
Hey there
Hey there! Really glad to meet you all! I´m Antxon, native from Donostia, a charming city located in the north of Spain. Currently, I´m a fourth year Design and Mechanical Engineering student at Tecnun, a welcoming university in my hometown. One of my all time favorite projects is the one we did for a mechanics related subject, in which we were challenged to create a bidirectional freewheel or clutch. I´m more into de design side of objects rather than their mechanics, so it was a huge test for me to understand what we were asked to do, the available solutions up to that moment and to consider functional factors that I hadn´t paid so much attention to in previous design projects. Finally, since our solution needed to be delivered physically built, we came up with a a model that was possible to be 3D printed in the devices in our college, and although in this kind of components the presentation is usually more focused on highlighting the functional aspects of the product, we tried to approach it from a design point of view, including colours and aiming to show it in an aesthetic fashion too. I´m really excited to participate in the Global Studio project, and by doing so, I hope I can learn more about different cultures and their vision on design, as well as meeting great people from all over the world. When it comes to myself, I really enjoy watching movies, for example The Shawshank Redemption, Casino or Catch me if you can, which I'm sure you would like as well! Although I don´t play any instrument, I´m also really keen on music, so I would love to know about different genres or musicians around the world too! I´ll leave my email address in case you want to contact me: agarmendiaa.1@alumni.unav.es

This is your Design Team's Project Blog. As Designers you will use this Design Project Blog to document your progress and interactions with your Clients. Your Clients will post their Project Brief on this Design Project Blog. As Designers you will post your design concepts on this Design Project Blog and Clients will post feedback here. In the first phase each Design team member will need to post minimum 3 concepts. So, for example, if your Design teams has 3 members, in total you will have 9 or more design concepts addressing Clients' Project Brief. In the next phase, after your Clients have provided you with a constructive feedback, your Design Team will post on this Design Project Blog 2 refined design proposals addressing the Clients feedback. In the third stage you will use the Client feedback to post on this Design Project Blog your final design proposal. Your Clients will use the submitted final design proposal to test it in their context. Your Clients will post on this Design Project Blog feedback which will evaluate your design proposal and how well it addressed the Project Brief. Your Clients will also share a feedback in relation how well you have communicated your design process. If you like you can delete this post or keep it as a reminder. List of task as the Designer -- any post are done on this Design Project Blog Each Design Team member will share 3 or more initial design concepts addressing the Clients' Project Brief As Design Team post 2 refined design team's concepts which have addressed Clients' feedback As the Design Team post on this Design Project Blog the final design proposal List of Task as Client -- any posts as Client are done on your paired Designers' Project Block Generate Project Brief based on your research of your grandparents Post your Project Brief on your paired Designers Project Blogs Post a feedback on each individual design project concepts generated by the designers on their Design Project Blogs Post your feedback on the Design Team's Project Blog
