Hi guys, this will be our final program. The cart has a telescopic structure on all four sides, top, bottom, left and right, so you can change the space according to the amount of food. There are food clips and food wrappers on the front of the cart to make it easy for the seller to pick up the food when selling. The back of the cart has an additional magnetic plate, which can be inserted into the cart to partition the food.
idea 1 Inspired by the grocery shopping carts of retired Chinese seniors. When you walk in the market you just pull it like a suitcase. The inside of the cart can be folded to form a table, so you can stop and sell. idea 2 Transferring the weight of the food to the head to the ground. Wheels on the bottom assist the elderly in walking. When you need to make a sale, just use the retractable structure to put the food down. idea 3 Modeled after the structural principles of the ancient Chinese arch. Like a teeter-totter, it transfers the force from the shoulders to the ground.
Design ideas
On October 24th we had our first online meeting with our Turkish friends. At first we communicated via whatsapp to determine our mutual availability. Then we had a voice call via Skype to get to know each other initially and consult a bit about each other's needs for presenting the design brief. And gave an initial proposal for us to follow up and move forward. I have to say we had a great exchange and MelihKaymak answered our most wanted questions.After the meeting, we also chatted about the food in both of our hometowns and we had a great time!
