Summary
For all 3 of my designs, I tried to keep the structures as simple as possible because the elderly should be able to use it without much difficulty. I plan the main materials to be wood and textile in regards to the traditional product because I want the designs to be familiar to the elderly and for designs to be cheap to produce.
It’s great to be able to see the wealth of ideas you have come up with for our customer brief! The first thing that might be important to state is the size of the chairs we need.I’m inclined to like the third idea, I think it’s very casual and gives a sense of comfort. The second idea is a bit on the traditional work chair side and not suitable for older people.
Idea 3 looks comfortable to sit, and it would be better if there is a convenient place to carry.
Nice to see your design ideas based on our design brief!I can see that all three of your design structures are very simple, which is a fantastic idea! I prefer the third design because it looks very comfortable. But I didn’t see any handles that could be carried by the elderly.

I think the weaving materials of the first and the second look much more comfortable than the second! The second one doesn’t look very comfortable and will feel very cold in winter～Can you make them more adjustable？
