Group Collaboration:Crafting Connections?✨

Even though there is a five-hour time difference with the team we are paired with, we have been maintaining communication. We had a video conference, which was a very interesting experience for our group—using a second language for formal communication for the first time. We are very grateful for their patience in answering all our questions and providing detailed demonstrations during the meeting.

We communicate and collaborate by creating channels on Discord. Everyone is here, and all conversations are visible.

In the first and second weeks, we reached out to our paired group and engaged in simple communication to get to know each other. In the following weeks, we dove into the formal process of communication and collaboration. As clients, we presented questions and pain points to each other. They provided five ideas related to the challenges my grandmother faces when cycling to buy groceries. In return, we received their concerns about difficulties in family cooking.

We both provided each other with ample supplementary materials, such as images and videos.

This has been a fascinating experience, especially learning about their country’s cooking habits and dietary preferences.

Thanks to each of them for their presence and patient communication?. We will continue to move the project forward!
